Burglary prevention

The good news is that burglary figures are down, however, we need your help to keep it that way.

Now that the nights are getting longer, please remember to make your home look occupied, especially when getting home after dusk or going out at night. The best way is to set timer switches to turn lights on and off at chosen times - you could also set the timer to turn on a talk radio station to make it sound like someone is home.

Haringey Association of Neighbourhood Watches meeting

Thursday 22nd September at 7pm, at the Civic Centre, Wood Green, N22.

It would be great to see as many of you there as possible to meet and welcome our new Safer Neighbourhoods Chief Inspector, who will be happy to answer your questions about Community Policing in Haringey.

It is a busy, but interesting meeting with guests, in addition to Chief Inspector Morrell, from the London Ambulance Service, Police Safer Roads and Transport, and Haringey Crutch.
