Family working to improve Manchester Gardens

UPDATE: Next session on Sunday 7 July 11am - 1pm. Veolia will remove all rubbish/prunings collected. We especially thank Cllr Barbara Blake. J

Unfortunately, only a few people could make it at the last session on Sunday 2 June.
Best finds were: electric saw & a bicycle wheel, as well as loads of bottles & cans, plus a pair of shoes.

Great result on Sunday 7 April & Sunday 5 May to clean up Manchester Gardens supported actively by our Councillors, Barbara Blake & Erdal Dogan. We all got stuck in!
Loads & loads of litter was removed, as well as twiggy prunings & leaves.
Best find of the day was a metre long, well oiled bolt cutter tucked away in a carry bag, as well as a fire extinguisher.

Big thanks to Veolia, who picked up all the rubbish at the end of the session.

We plan to work in Manchester Gardens on the first Sunday of every month 11am - 1pm.
Next dates are:
- Sunday 5 May
- Sunday 2 June
- Sunday 7 July

Come along & join us if you can & make a difference in Manchester Gardens!
